Downtime During the Slow Season:
One Rink will be taken down each year for several weeks each Summer.
The surface without ice has been used in the past for off-ice training, lacrosse and in-line skating. This is done to accommodate summer hockey camps for off-ice training and also for ice maintenance: Line-painting and Ice-making. Ice Maintenance for each Rink alternates every other year.
