Claudia bLACK

I am originally from Toronto, Ontario, but have resided in Central Pennsylvania for the past few years. I started playing hockey from a young age, growing up - spent lots of time out on frozen lake in the winter with my triplet sister. Additionally, she had a fantastic hockey career herself as a starting goalie for Union College and the University of Vermont women's ice hockey teams from 2016-2019. We both immediately became invested with hockey and possessed a great love for the game right away. I knew it was my passion. Most recently in my hockey career, I continued my passion for the sport as an assistant coach of the women's ice hockey team at Lebanon Valley College from 2021-2023. Prior to my coaching career, I spent three seasons playing Division I ice hockey at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). I was able to accelerate my undergraduate degree at RIT into 3 years, which allowed me to graduate early and play my final year of Div I eligibility at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and receive my MBA. Presently, I currently work in a management position within the pharmaceutical consulting space and will be completing my third and final semester as an Adjunct Instructor at Lebanon Valley College in the First Year Experience Department.
